  1. 1. This picture portrays Hitler and the Nazis as evil skeleton men. Hitler is holding a bloodied scythe in the shape of a swastika and his men march below him at his feet. Hitler is also wearing a mask of his face over his skull. If you look in the background, you can see that there are millions of Nazis marching-so many that they disappear into the distance.

    2. a.)Why is Hitler wearing a mask over his face?
    b.)Where are the Nazis going?
c.)Why would the Nazis be portrayed as skeletons?
d.)Why would Hitler be holding scythes? (Aside from the fact that it's in the shape of a swastika).

    3. I think the mask Hitler has over his skull is trying to represent that he is so evil he's not even human, but a heartless skeleton pretending to be a man. The scythes with blood symbolize death, killing, and, obviously, they're in the shape of a swastika. I think the artist is trying to show people the kind of monster Hitler is, by portraying him as a grim reaper. The statement that is being made is that Hitler and the Nazis imply death and evils. They march in as a single force united by cold-blooded mass murder.

    4. The audience intended to see this was most likely Jewish people and/or people against the Nazis. It would most likely mean death for the artist if a Nazi saw this cartoon.

    3. Caroline makes an excellent point. We are human. We all have this nature of empathy. How could a person live with themselves knowing they sent millions into hiding scared that the next day they wouldn't be alive? That is not human. Hitler only committed suicide becaus he didn't want someone to take the pleasure of killing him. I have never heard of a more selfish man. CHildren should not be spoiled. it influences that as long as they are okay, everything is enjoyable. Hate to break it to you but thouands die everyday. It is uncontrollable. Tragedy is part of life. Life is to live not knowing what will happen the next day. It is not a fright but a surprise. Some people will dread the truth.

    4. I agree with both of your questions. Why would Hitler be wearing a mask and where is he leading the soldiers to?

    5. I think that they might be marching towards death and towards inhumanity. As they continue to follow Hitler, they continue to move away from thoughts of humanity.

      Delete
    6. I agree with Caroline that the mask represents how he's pretending to be man, but because he is so ruthless, he is not even human, so that's why he is a skeleton.

    7. I really like/agree with that you think the whole mask/swath/skeleton represents that Hitler is too evil to be considered human, and that Hitler is a "monster" like the infamous grim reaper.

  2. 1. This picture shows Hitler as the big skeleton and the smaller skeletons as the Nazis. I noticed that the scythes together make the Nazi symobol. Also that there is a mask on Hitler.
    2. a: Why are the Nazis portrayed as skeletons?
    b: Where are they?
    3. The artist is trying to show everyone how cruel Hitler was to everyone. Hitler is shown as the grim reaper. The statement is that we shouldn't have voted for Hitler and that he was heartless.
    4. The audience intended to see this was the people against the Nazis such as the Jews.

    2. I agree that this picture portrays reality. No matter how much it hurts, the people must know that life is not perfect. In fact, it is far from it. Disappointment and despicable deeds are the truth. Some people take awhile to find what is actually true. This cartoon shows the Ho.ocaust like it was. It was a wicked thing that killed many of our friends. You contributed to the destruction. Reality is somthing no one can be ignorant of. A caring person knows to help someone you must believe in the tragedy.

  3. This picture shows hitler as a giant skeleton that is holding to giant double sided scythes that make up the swastika symbol. Below him are a bunch of smaller skeletons which are nazis. Why is hitler wearing a mask? Why is the swastika made up of scythes? I think that hitler was a skeleton because he is being put as evil and a Skeleton is a symbol for evil. I realized that the mask on his face is his actual face of what he looked like which I thought was being portrayed as looking human on the outside and being some kind monster on the inside. The statement being made is that hitler is leading a bunch of killers who just keep doing what they are doing without knowing that it is wrong. The audience intended to see this would be everybody that's against the nazi beliefs especially Jews.

  4. In this picture Hitler is just a mask shielding a giant skeleton and he's towering over an army of more skeletons, which are his Nazis, while holding a scythe in the form of a swastika. Why is Hitler a skeleton wearing a mask? Why is the swastika made up of scythes? The artist of this image is portraying how the great Hitler everyone is following is a mask hiding the true monster he is. I think they're in the form of skeletons because Hitler and the Nazis were heartless beings, and were not mentally and emotionally human. This picture was intended for the audience of those against Hitler and the people who opposed him.

    2. Kelly is right. HItler had a goal. There was never a tie in which he felt giving to others was more important than himself. He is a monster. WE fall for these kind of people everyday. They lure us in with sweet, complimenting mindset than rip our hearts with demon actions. It is truly cruel. To deceive a person is to tattoo a name on your face. A liar. Those mean, nasty curses will haunt anyone forever. Sadly, most people like Hitler doesn't even know that guilt exists.

  5. 1) This man is evil that will have no mercy. No matter how many times they want to organize a toddler teaparty rebellion, Hitler will always win. He uses the dead as a tool to lure in victims that will suffer equally. He'll torture you dead or alive. Even if you are a Nazi soldier, you are still in misery. To think you kill your brothers and sisters by hand as they plead and scream for help. No one can trust. Your friends are enemies. If no one stand up to the oppressor, he will gain power to laugh in the face of innocent children and families dying. The world is a despicable place in which we let others excite them selves to act superior.
    2) Why does the dead let Hitler rule over them, control their lives when they have nothing to risk or lose?
How can a whole heaarted, properous dream turn into a nightmare for millions of families across the globe?
What would you prefer: chaos or organized suppression?
Why would such a horrible creature ever keep on killing and harming others when pain has already been given?
What hurts more: the sharpness of a sword or the cruel, grimacing remarks that insult and shame your name forever?
    3) The point the artist is sending is the Holocaust was not all Hitler's fault. We let others pummel our confidence to that of an ant. ice have stronger, braver hearts that won't let the top of the food chain scare them. Treat everyday like it's the last. Who cares about the future when bliss can be accomplished now? Life is unpredictable whether we like it or not. These Jews and other ethnicities were dumbfoundingly accepted discrimination. In the end, you will never benefit by letting someone tell you what to do. Even when you are forbidden from the world, the tyrrant rules over you. The black and white to me represented dark time filled with no bright smiles or sunshine. Color was extinct. We allowed Hitler to ruin our lives.
    4) I can guarentee that that if this politial cartoon was even imagined during the reign of Hitler the artist would be executed. It is a powerful symbol to reach out to those who lost loved ones or resented themselves by keeping silent. We are Earth. We are human. We make mistakes. But with our flaws come our strengths. We can show that we aren't vulnerable and gentle. Let's create a new succesful era, full of dreams that will be fulfilled. We will never again be stomped on by villains. Together we are the most couragious and monumental souls that ever lived. Everybody has that tough mentality t risk their lives for anything. Believers feel the passion oozing out of the cartoon. Give it everything your little is made because I can tell you it is sure worth it.

    1. The way how you said that the Holocaust wasn't all Hitler's fault should be acknowledged by the world. The Nazis lifted up Hitler so he could reach greater heights, and the bystanders provided a base for Hitler so he wouldn't fall. We need this knowledge to form a united barrier to prevent someone like Hitler from coming to power.

    2. I would prefer chaos-as long as everyone had the right to express themselves and there was no discrimination. Organized suppression would be like living your whole life in a prison and you would have no thoughts of your own.

  6. I think the skeleton man is Hitler. And he's putting on a mask of brightness and confusion which tricks all the other mini skeletons to falling into line. It's communism at its finest.
Where are the skeletons marching to? What does the face in the picture (or mask) represent?
I think this picture represents the following and blind order the Nazis and Gestapo fell into. How Hitler so cleverly laid the trap of following and he merely got these people to fall in line just like that. He had followers so quickly and then he manipulated these people.
I think the audience this was intended for was the people who despised Hitler's actions as a human being. All four blades meant the swastika was his weapon of choice and if anyone person didn't believe in it,he would strike them down with the ahrp intimidating blades.

3)I think this cartoon is trying to show how mean Hitler was to everyone, its like the smaller skeletons are all his slaves and he is the leader.

  10. the swastika with the blades is facing left which is a sign of piece. if you look on hitlers sleeve the swastika is facing right which is the nazi simbol(not good). I think that they were shown as skeletons because they were cruel and evil.

why is the blade on the bottom clean?

  11. The picture shows Hitler commanding a very large group of skeletons. Hitler is holding a skythe in the shape of a swastika, the symbol for nazis. Hitler himself is portrayed as a skeleton and has a mask on to hide his cruelty and true nature. i saw that under his mask, hitler seems to be smiling. I also noticed that the skythe was dripping with blood and I think this represents the number of deaths that occurred and happened because of hitler's organization.
Are the other skeletons all of the Jews ect. that Hitler pushed towards death or are they Nazi followers that support Hitler?
How could anyone live with themself if they know the horror they created?
Why is only Hitler known and portrayed as the sole person who caused the holocaust? Others helped Hitler in his quest for destruction, but they are not in the picture.
I think the soldiers are marching towards depression. As they follow hitler's orders and murder innoccent people they progress until they are not even human. I think that the people are represented as skeletons because they have to live in them. they do not care for others or have empathy or compassion. They have lost their soul from the crimes committed. Or they are so lost by blending in, they don't know how to step up and protect each other. I think the part of the blade that is not bloody stands for the point that so much destruction has already occurred, but there is still a chance to stop the continuous cycle. we, as human beings, have to stop this before there is nothing left.
I think this was meant to be viewed by people who are not extreme Nazis. It may be able to convince other people to stop supporting Hitler and to realize the mess they are causing. It may encourage them to fight back. It could also be for people in hiding or trying to fight the holocaust. It could give them the extra hope they need to get through the times.

    1. You gave a unique and totally valid perspective when you explained how the political cartoon could have been drawn for those in hiding. It is a powerful way to hype up many defeated spirits. Like Anne Frank's writing, your point makes me wonder if some people in hiding expressed their feelings in art.

  12. The artist is showing a skeleton with a mask of hitlers face to portray him as the massacre he is. He has a scythe in the shape of a swastika & its dripping with blood. The skeleton is wearing hitlers unifor & even has a belt that says 'Hitler' on it. He also has an army of skeletons to represent all the people who supported this & followed him.
    Who drew this?
When did they draw it ?
This artist is showing hitler for who he truly was. He wasnt a great leader, he was akiller & hypocrit. All the people are being drawn as skeletons because they have been stripped from their rights as human beings.

  13. 1. The political cartoon portrays Hitler leading his men, who are the Nazis. They are all skeletons, and Hitler is one too, but he has a mask over his face revealing his human face. Also, he is holding a scythe in the shape of a swastika. Three of the swastikas have blood dripping from them. The Nazis march together following Hitler with thousands behind them fading off into the distance. I think the skeletons represent the evil and hatred of the Nazis. I think the skeletons also represent how the Nazis sent people off to concentration camps to starve to death, and I think because there are over a thousand soldiers it shows how many people died from what they did or how many soldiers there were. Hitler's head is looking down, so maybe that shows that he is looking down at his men, or he is looking down because of all the negative things he did. Hitler is bigger from the rest because he is their leader and he had a large amount of power.

    2. -Where are Hitler and the rest of the Nazis going?
-Why does Hitler have a mask of his face over his skull?

    3. The scythe goes through Hitler's head, so that might show how he committed suicide because he is also holding the scythe. They are all skeletons because of how evil they were and how many deaths they caused. The mask may mean how he is pretending to be human; or he has a human face, but with an evil soul.

    4. The audience for this political cartoon was made for most likely the Jews, and anyone who lost a loved one. A lot of non-Jewish people were also against the Nazis philosophy because they believed it wasn't right.

  14. 1. This cartoon shows a man so cold and callous that he is pictured as the living dead - Adolf Hitler. Since Hitler was merciless to none, he is described as heartless, which the artist did an excellent job of portraying by making him a skeleton, for skeletons have an empty chest cavity with no heart. The mask over Hitler's face symbolizes that he is barely human, or a monster under the skin. He is literally two-faced - a charismatic, influencing speaker on one side and a cold-blooded murderer on the other. Hitler's bony hand is holding a bloodstained scythe the shape of the swastika symbol, which is the Nazis official logo. On his belt, the word Hitler appears, but the full phrase it says is probably "Hail Hitler". This beastly man is stomping over his Nazi followers that are represented as smaller skeletons. This explains how Hitler took the souls out of his followers and replaced them with mindless killing machines. It also represents how Hitler was a dictator, perhaps the worst dictator the world has ever faced.
    2. Are the Nazis on the picture driven by true loyalty or fear?
Do the Nazis see Hitler's skeleton self or only his mask-covered face?
Why is Hitler pictured as the supreme destructor of man kind? Shouldn't the Nazis be equal to him because they conducted all the killings?
Does Hitler see that the Nazis are marching to death because they have nothing to gain or lose?
Did Hitler view himself so much higher than his own followers that he doesn't care that he may have destroyed some of their lives?
Did the Nazis have brains of their own, or did they blindly follow Hitler?
    3. I think that the artist is trying to tell us that the reason why Hitler rose to such heights was because people blindly started to follow him. Every time the Nazis killed or destroyed the essence of a life, the taller and more unstoppable he got. The cartoonist tells us that Hitler was an average leader, but since the Nazis never stopped marching, Hitler was carried upon their shoulders as a savior to Germany. I also believe that the Nazis are in a way leading Hitler to find 'flaws' and increase the destruction. The Nazis are blindly wiping out everything in their path, and Hitler over sees them with triumph. The growing power of the Nazis leeched the color out of life and left the world lying in a black and white gutter. Hitler couldn't do as much damage if he didn't have his supporters, and as time went on, people's backbone grew frail until their egos and self-esteem were flimsy and decrepit. People around the world succumbed to the demanding indifference. Because not one of us stood up, Hitler used his advantage to crumble the hopes in our lives to despair.
    4. First of all, I would like to point out that the artist probably didn't live in Europe, otherwise Hitler would have personally sought after him and silenced his beliefs forever. I think that the artist may have shown this cartoon to neutralists or indifferent people so they would be knocked into their senses and stop the Holocaust. It is telling those people that they are making a mistake by not taking action, and to take the time and really see what a soulless dictator Hitler is. The artist obviously believes that this Nazi regime has no purpose, and is trying to show how Nazism is bad in a meaningful way. He is telling us that as people, we have made several mistakes, but now it is time to correct them. As the human race, we have the individual minds to tell right from wrong, and instead of keeping quiet about something we know is horrible, we should take that first step and set the correct example.

  16. In the picture I see death, or the devil, with his scythes in the form of the swatstika, and army of skeletons that goes on for miles. There is blood on his scythe ans the Nazi symbol on his arm, and he is hiding behind a mask of Adolf Hitler's face. Why is his army skeletons? Who are they fighting against? I think the artist is trying to show that Hitler is evil and with his Nazi army that is large and growing every day, he will bring death with him and eventually kill anyone and everyone opposing him. I think the picture is directed toward people who didn't necessarily know that much about Hitler, so that they could see how evil he was and what his end game would be.

  17. this picture depicts death with his sythe and his army of evil. Yet death is shown disguised as hitler, and his army is made of nazis, and his sythe depicts the nazi swatstika. Also notice that three blades are bloody, i think this means that three of his enemies are vanquished, and that he just has to take care of the u.s. i am wondering why they showed him as if he was leading those people to their doom, or if the artist meant to say something with the texture of that mask. i think the artist is showing whats going on and asking for help. i think this was intended for the u.s. to see, as people in that day were asking for a lot of help from the u.s.

Following this man is the nazi soldiers who are also depicted as skeletons. "hitler" is carrying four scythes joined into the swastika. I have 2 questions to ask about this political cartoon. 1.Are the soldiers completely brainwashed or arethey scared for their own lives? 2.What is the small handle on the scythe? I feel that the reason there are only three bloody blades, because the one that is clean is the one that is over the soldiers, his followers, the people he must protect to keep in power. I think this political cartoon was intended for everyone but the followers of hitler.

  21. To me, it looks like there is a man in the form of a skeleton. The mask over his head shows the face of Hitler, and he is holding a giant scythe that looks like the swastika symbol. One of the sharp ends of the scythe is going into Hitler’s head. Towards the bottom of the photo are the Nazis in the form of skeletons.
Where are the Nazis troops going?
Why is part of the scythe going through Hitler’s face/head?
There trying to make it seem like he is normal looking on the outside, but taking a look deeper into who he really is, he is cold hearted and lifeless on the inside. In the picture it’s making the Nazis look like his slaves. I think the picture is a perfect display of what everyone thought about Hitler and the Nazis at this point in time, and who they were.
The people to see this were definitely the Jews.

  23. The cartoon shows a disturbing skeleton that is wearing an Adolf Hitler mask. An army of skeletons are marching with him. His army is made up of endless soldiers that are being led to their death.

Did Hitler think of himself larger than life and is that why in the cartoon he is so much taller than all of the soldiers?
Did the artist draw endless amount of soldiers to show that Hitler could care less about how many people would die following him?

Hitler and the Nazis had no respect for human life and the cartoon portrays just how evil he and his regime was. Having the skeleton wear a mask was an attempt to show the monster behind this man, even a mask couldn't cover his horrendous actions. Looking at the cartoon it shows Hitler destroying himself and others with the swastika sign.

The artist wanted to show the whole world what a monster Hitler was, his audience would be anyone who listened.

  27. This picture portrays Hitler with his army. Hitler is larger than the skeletons and is holding a swastika made up of scythes. It looks like the grim reaper hiding behind the mask of Hitler. The skeleton symbolises death which can relate to the picture because Hitler caused so many deaths during World War II. Also, below Hitler is an endless army of skeletons. My guess is since they aren't drawn as humans, they are skeletons because they were heartless and showed no mercy.
1.) Why does the mask show Hitler's face showing a sad, depressed expression?
2.)What is in Hitler's right hand?
The artist is trying to show through this drawing that Hitler created a bloodshedding path of sadness throughout the war. The artist is showing what lies behind the mask of Hitler.
The picture may have been directed to the whole world to show who Hitler really was.

  28. 1)hitler is going somewhere with the nazis
2)why is only one blade clean with blood ? why does hitler look sad?
3)i think the artist is trying to show that hitler did no good nd just killed people
4)i think it was meant for the jews to show that hitler will be stopped

  29. 1. Its Hitler depicted as a skeleton with a scythe in the shape of a swastika with his army marching below him.
    2. Why was Hitler wearing a mask? Why was everybody a skeleton?
    3. He's saying that Hitler and the Nazis bring death and destruction to anybody that opposes them.
    4. Any enemies of the Nazis, so that they would see that Nazis only stood for evil and nothing else.

  30. 1.The picture shows a skeleton wearing a mask with Hitlers face on it. He is holding a swastika made of scythes. He is commanding his skeleton army. Only one of the scythes has no blood on it.
    2. Why does only one scythe have no blood on it? What is in Hitler's right hand?
    3. They are all skeletons so that might mean they are soulless beings, and the scythe with no blood might mean that he will kill more people. The object in his right hand kind of looks like a piece of paper so it could be the poem he made his followers memorize. the artist might be telling us that it was a little too easy for Hitler to do this because he had so many followers and not enough people brave enough to challenge him.
    4. This was probably for everyone to see what a horrible person
he became because not enough people had the ability to get rid of him.

    2. I agree with what you said about this picture. I just realised that maybe the clean scythe might represent how he looks to his supporters or how he kills everyone but the Nazis and his supporters.

  31. 1. the picture shows a skeleton with a Hitler mask on. he is a nazi and there are his followers at the bottom of the picture.
    2. what does this picture actually mean? why does it have sharp swords ?
3.i think they're all skeletons because the did what they were told was right and they weren't really human beings, no soul. Hitler looks kind of sad so i think in his deep heart he believed that what he did was wrong.
4.this might have been intended for everybody to see hand to rethink their actions and how everybody makes mistakes and how people can really be cruel to one another and live with the guilt.

  32. 1)This picture shows Hitler as the skeleton and the smaller skeletons is his Nazi solders. I noticed that the scythes together make the Nazi symobol too. Also that there is a mask on Hitler.
2)Why would the Nazis be portrayed as skeletons?
what does this picture actually mean?
3)the mask Hitler has over his face is trying to represent that he is so evil he's not even human and a heartless skeleton pretending to be a man. The scythes with blood symbolize death, killing, and they are in the shape of a swastika. I think the artist is trying to show people the kind of monster Hitler is by portraying him as a grim reaper. The statement that is being made is that Hitler and the Nazis are just all death and evil. They march in as a single force united by a non human mass murder.
4)it could be for the jews to see the power hitler has on the world.

  33. This picture depicts Hitler and the Nazis as death. They are evil skeleton men and Hitler as the Grim Reaper.

Why does Hitler have a mask on?
Is that big Grim Reaper Hitler?

The mask might depict the inhumane ways of his actions. The skeletons represent blind obedience. the swastika represent war and blood. The army on the bottom represents power. The artist probably didn't like Hitler a lot and is trying to show the world what Hitler is doing.

This cartoon is designed for anti-Nazis or Jews or Gypsies.

2.where was this pic suppose to take place ?
why are all the people skeletons .
3.I think the artist meant to say all the Natzi's are dead to him .

  35. 1. I see death with a Hitler mask on lording over a army of skeletons. You can see the rows of marching skeleton army goes on without a end you can see, giving the effect that there is no end of soldiers and there is an endless supply of them. I also see that the weapons death holds are forming the shape of the swastika symbol of the Nazis, and three of the blades are dripping with blood, while one blade remains clean. I think the clean blade refers to the one race Hitler hasn't killed and is in fact trying to preserve and promote, called the Aryan race. As for the bloodied blades, I take those as the blood of all he people Hitler or death has already killed, and the endless line of soldiers his weapons to kill many more people.

    2.
    A. What exactly does the clean blade represent?
    B. Where is this taking place?
    C. What is Hitler holding in his right hand?
    D. Are the scythes he is holding cutting off his head?

    3. This picture portrays Hitler's rule, how he rules and a general idea of his hidden agenda. I think the artist is trying to tell the audience that Hitler is not who he seems. He is a terrible monster with a hidden agenda. The statement in thus political cartoon is, Hitler and the Nazis are bad news, they are here to destroy not to rebuild.

    4. I believe the audience this cartoon is aimed for are Hitlers supporters, to try and dissuade them from supporting Hitler and reveal his inner nature which is a monster or as shown in the picture, death it self.

  36. 1) You see death in a humanoid form with a Hitler mask on. Who is giving orders to his army of soldiers that are much smaller than he is.

    2) Where is this taking place?
What is he holding is his right hands?
Why are only some scythes bloody and one not?

    3) They are tall and many of them, however they are all skinny skeletons meaning they are all weak. Their are sythces with blood meaning their will be death, but one is without blood meaning in the end is you fight with good hearts you will win.

4)This might be intended to arouse a revolt against Hitler and the Nazi party.

  37. 1)The picture depicts Hitler and his army as death and he is much greater then them and is leading them and ordering them what to do.
2)why are 3 of the sythes bloody?
why is one of the sythes clean?
3)I think that he depicts hitler is the all powerful ruler that just uses the tiny skeleton army to do his bidding and that truly they mean nothing to him because he is selfish and is out to kill everyone for his own pathetic reasons and will do anything so that he gets what he wants.
4)This was intended for the Nazi hating audience to get them to stand up against the Nazis because if any Nazis were to see this, they would have the drawer executed.

  38. 1. this picture is hitler and his army. they are skeletons which is a symbol of death. hitler is controlling them and ordering them what to do.
    2. is hitler looking down because he believes he is over powering them? why are 3 sythes bloody and 1 clean? where is hitler taking the army?
    3. i think the artist is trying to make a point that hitler is overpowering them and rules them. hitler is leading them in a ordered line, and it looks like the artist wanted this to be night time.
    4. i think the audience is hitlers supporters for hitler to show how good and powerfully he is when he is really just cruel.

  39. 1) Death with a Hitler mask leading a endless army of skeletons.
    2) Where are all of them going to? How many of them are in his army?
    3) Hitler is controlling them by making himself seem larger then everyone else around him. That Hitler used force to control them.
    4) This Picture might be for the Jews to see and realize they could stop him.

2)Why is he wearing a mask, whats in the background
3)Hitler is wearing a mask to prevent people from seeing who he truly is?
4)this picture was for the common people to show he was evil

  41. 1. This cartoon depicts a skeleton or what I see as being "death" wearing the mask that is Hitler's face. He is holding scythes in the shape of a swastika and directing an army of Nazis, which are also skeletons. Hitler is a skeleton with no heartor soul.

    2. a. Why are only three of the swatstika blades bloody? b. What is that other small symbol on his shirt just below one of the swatstika's handle?

    3. Some deeper connections I have found are that Hitler is bigger and taller than everyone else, which represents that Hitler thought he was better than everyone. I also realised that his belt says "Hitler" on it. The "Hail" was probably cut off, but I can tell that that represents the prayer and teachings that the children in Hitler's programs were learning and reciting every day. I also realised that the "skeleton" Nazi soldiers might represent that Hitler raised his army from the dead, so they have no heart or soul, like he does.

    4. I think that this was a political cartoon meant for everyone to show who Hitler really was and how he was ruining Germany and all the other countries' perspective of Germany and the Nazi party.

  42. I think that the picture means that Hitler is death inside a human body. The skeletons below him probably meant that he had an endless army of men. The scythes he had in his hand looked in the shape of a swastika.

What was the real reason of him wearing the mask? What was he holding in his right hand?

I realized that the artist made Hitler look bigger than everyone else. He might have wanted to tell that Hitler and his men were evil men with absolutely no feelings.

The cartoon was made for people of Germany and others as well to show who Hitler really was.

  43. 1) You see death in a humanoid form with a Hitler mask on. Who is giving orders to his army of soldiers that are much smaller than he is.
    2) Why is the scythe a backwords swastika.
    3) The scythe goes through Hitler's head, so that might show how he committed suicide because he is also holding the scythe. They are all skeletons because of how evil they were and how
many deaths they caused. The mask may mean how he is pretending to be human; or he has a human face, but with an evil soul.
    4. This may be intended for the bystanders to show them what Hitler was doing and why it was wrong.

  44. 1) death is disguised as hitler and his scythe is in the shape of a swastica representing the nazis.
    2) why is the army skeletons? why is the scythe going through hitlers head?
3)The artist is trying to tell people that hitler is death in human form, he is closely related to the devil. the artist is trying to tell people the misery and awfulness of the nazi party.
    4) this audience is intended for anti-nazi believers

  45. 1)I think this picture represents "death" but with a Hitler mask on and the people below him are his soldiers as you can tell they are much smaller then he is so that represents that he is ordering him around.

    where is this taking place?
3)I think the artist is trying to show that the nazi hell and Hitler is the devil telling hell what to do.
4)This picture is for an audience of anti-nazi believers
